Graduate of Carroll College and Southern California College of Optometry. Over 20 years in private practice. Legislative chairman for the American Optometric Assn., Past president of the Montana Optometric Assn., Knights of Columbus of Helena. He and wife, Judy have three children, Reed, Rachael and Robbie.

Board Member, Montana's laison for Healthy People 2010. He and wife, Chelly, have a son, Cole and a daughter Emma.
