Montana Eyecare Optometrists

Bill Simons, O.D. (pictured bottom left)

Optometrist

Dr. Bill Simons purchased the optometric practice of Dr. Mike Coffey and began practicing at Montana Eyecare in August 1986 in partnership with Dr. Jim Wilkins and Dr. Tom Rasmussen. He was a 1974 graduate of Shelby High School and graduated from Carroll College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology in 1978. Dr. Simons received his Doctorate Degree in Optometry in 1982 from Southern California College of Optometry and practiced optometry in Cut Bank and Browning, Montana before joining Montana Eyecare. He and his wife Judy, an RN at St. Peter’s Hospital, have three children; Reed, Rachael and Robbie. Dr. Simons has been active as a cantor, youth coach and the Helena Education Foundation. He has been at the for-front leading his profession in Montana as President of the Montana Optometric Association and Great Western Council of Optometry. He has been named Optometrist of the Year three times and continues to be active in his profession. He was awarded the 2011 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year by the Southern California College of Optometry's (SCCO's), Alumni Association. Dr. Simons was selected for this special recognition based on his service to his alma mater, leadership within the profession, and achievement in community service. Dr. Simons has dedicated himself to delivering the very best optometric care to each and every patient he serves.

Bill Hasquet, O.D. (pictured top right)

Optometrist

Dr. Bill Hasquet purchased the optometric practice of Dr. Jim Wilkins and began practicing at Montana Eyecare in August 1998 in partnership with Dr. Bill Simons and Dr. Tom Rasmussen. He was a 1989 graduate of Shelby High School and graduated from Carroll College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Combined Sciences in 1993. Dr. Hasquet received his Doctorate Degree in Optometry in 1997 from Southern California College of Optometry. He and his wife Chelly have two children, Cole and Emma. Dr. Hasquet is an active member of his church, Carroll College Saints athletics, and coaching youth sports. He has been a strong leader in Montana as President of the Montana Optometric Association and member of the American Optometric Association. He was named Montana’s Young Optometrist of the Year and continues to be active in his profession. Dr. Hasquet has dedicated himself to delivering the very best optometric care to each and every patient he serves.

Marcus Kelley, O.D (pictured top left)

Optometrist

Dr. Marcus Kelley started practicing at Montana Eyecare in August 2006 in with Dr. Bill Simons and Dr. Bill Hasquet. He was a 1998 graduate of Capital High School and graduated from Xavier University in Ohio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in 2002. Dr. Kelley received his Doctorate Degree in Optometry in 2006 from Southern California College of Optometry. He and his wife Lisa, an Attorney at Blue Cross/Blue Shield, have one son named Dylan. He has been a strong leader in his profession in Montana as a Trustee of the Montana Optometric Association Board and a member of the American Optometric Association and continues to be active in his profession. Dr. Kelley has dedicated himself to delivering the very best optometric care to each and every patient he serves.
